About Us
ABK AOTS DOSOKAI Tamil Nadu centre was started in the year 1973 by Mr M R Ranganathan,
the Founder Chairman. His vast experience with Japanese clients and his in-depth understanding of the Japanese culture and tradition helped in the rapid growth of the organisation.
ABK AOTS DOSOKAI, Japanese Language school, Bangalore Chapter was started on the 29th of May 2017. This is the first franchise outside of Tamil Nadu. We work closely with the Consulate General of Japan, Bengaluru and we are also an active member of Indo Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Bengaluru.
Every language has its beauty and tradition and the Japanese language has an added advantage of having a lot of similarities with Indian languages and culture.
Our students are a heterogeneous mix of working professionals, students, homemakers, and retired people, with the age group ranging from 10 to 70.
The classes are conducted by a team of skillful and dedicated teachers, trained by the Japan Foundation. We offer online and classroom sessions both on weekdays and weekends, as per the convenience of the students. Our online classes are particularly popular amongst professionals and students outside India.
We specialize in Fast Track courses and short-term conversational courses, which are preferred by people who need to make short-duration visits to Japan on official engagements.
The books and course material used are those prescribed by the Japan Foundation for JLPT. Our teaching methods focus on improving the Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills (LSRW) of students. The various tools used for teaching include PPTs, flashcards for Kanji, Kanji games, roleplays, and audio-visual aids. These, along with a well-equipped library, help enhance the overall language proficiency of students.
We conduct periodical tests for assessments. Our institute specializes in intensive revision and mock tests, which go a long way in boosting students’ confidence before the exams and attain good scores.
